WHY TMINISTRY?
It started with a simple question: What if I stopped worrying about what people thought- and started living my faith like I wasn't afraid to show it?
"For I am not ashamed of this Good News about Christ..."
Romans 1:16
IT STARTED WITH A SHIRT.
In 2016, I put on my first Jesus T-shirt for a mission trip. I thought I was simply finding a fun way to wear my faith. I didn't realize that simple shirt would challenge me to live my faith more boldly—and eventually became TMinistry.
THE QUESTION THAT CHANGED EVERYTHING.
One of the scariest things anyone ever said to me was,
“I didn't know you were a Christian.”
Why was I afraid for people to know?
I started asking myself a simple question: Do I care more about what people think of me, or what God thinks of me?
That changed everything.
I went from “Oh no, they'll know I'm a Christian.”
to
“Oh YES, they WILL KNOW.”
What started with wearing a shirt became a challenge to live my faith more boldly—not just on a mission trip, but in everyday life.
THAT'S WHEN THE PUNCTUATION CHANGED.
"You're a Christian?" became "You're a Christian!"
GET OUT OF THE BOAT
"So Peter went out of the boat and walked on the water toward Jesus." Matthew 14:29
The theme of my second mission trip was Peter stepping out of the boat in faith. For a long time, I thought faith meant waiting for some big, life-changing moment.
But maybe faith is simply being willing to take the next step when God puts one in front of you.
For me, that meant continuing to wear my faith—even when it was uncomfortable, even when people noticed, and even when I didn't know where it would lead.
Sometimes faith isn't knowing where the next step will lead. It's trusting Jesus enough to take it.
A SHIRT BECAME A MISSION.
What started with one shirt became something much bigger.
TMinistry exists to make it easier to put faith in plain sight, start conversations about Jesus, and use something as ordinary as a T-shirt for something extraordinary.
And eventually, that mission found a bigger purpose.
WHAT'S YOUR 5+2?
"Here is a boy with five small barley loaves and two small fish, but how far will they go among so many?" John 6:9
Jesus took five loaves and two fish and used what looked like very little to do something extraordinary.
Your 5+2 may look different.
